Closing a large gap between your 2 front teeth
Package: Combo Pack for large gaps between the 2 front teeth.
This package contains a variety of bands that, when used in conjunction have the ability to bring your entire front row of teeth together.
When closing a large gap between your 2 front teeth it is important to keep in mind that if you only address the 2 front teeth you run the risk of creating gaps on the outsides of your 2 front teeth.
In order to prevent this from happening (show picture of 2 front teeth brought together while creating gaps on the outsides of the 2 front teeth) you have to address the entire front row of teeth.
In this scenario, the Combo Pack should be used.
The Combo Pack comes with Narrow Bands to close the gaps between your 2 front teeth as well as Wide Bands to close the spaces between your Lateral Incisors and Canine Teeth.
Your Combo Pack for large gas between your 2 front teeth comes with 5 separate varieties of bands. These are:
1) Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands
2) Small Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands
3) Narrow Retaining Bands
4) Extra Strength Wide Closing Bands
5) Wide Retaining Bands
Step 1: Bring your 2 front teeth together.
You will begin by using your Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands. Your package will contain 2 different varieties of Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands. Being that everybody has teeth and gaps of different sizes, we provide 2 different sizes of Narrow Closing Bands in each package; regular sized and small. Your packages will be labeled with this information.
Now, you will find out which one of the packages of Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands is appropriate for your teeth.
a) Start by fitting the Small Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands to your teeth. If they fit, then you will continue the closing process for your 2 front teeth with those bands.
(Note: Most users will find that the Small Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands are best suited to fit around their 2 front teeth.)
If the Small Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands do not reach around the distance of your 2 front teeth, then your teeth and/or your gap is too big for these bands. Don’t worry! We have you covered.
We have supplied a second option in your package:
b) Use the Extra Strength Narrow Closing Bands. These will certainly fit around your 2 front teeth. These bands are great for closing gaps that are very large.
You can now begin the process of bringing your Central Incisors together. Change the bands every 5 to 6 hours. Be certain to wear your Closing Bands while you sleep.
(Note: There is no need to wake up from sleeping to remove a used band and replace it with a new one. Simply replace the band immediately following your morning oral hygiene ritual.)
